Boylan & Balfe | The Makeup People We are Ken Boylan and Ellie Balfe, professional makeup artists with over 25 years combined experience. Our careers have spanned movies, theatre and TV but we have mainly focused on fashion work. We have extensive portfolios and many celebrity clients who rely on us for our directional styling and unbiased advice. Our work brings us face to face with real women every day and we realised that most people are feeling a little confused by the array of cosmetic companies out there, many of them offering conflicting advice. We are both dedicated to discovering all the new products and use only those we believe to be the best from across all the brands but we are very aware that in these recessionary times people don't want to be wasting money on products that they don't need. So we have scoured the beauty halls and websites to find the products that give the best value for money and perform the best. Makeup Courses Makeup shouldn't be intimidating, its about looking well groomed, feeling pretty and having a bit of fun! We want to de-mystify makeup by training women to achieve the best looks for them in the fewest steps with the easiest technique. We have designed a range of courses that will help all women, all ages and all budgets to become their own makeup artist.
